Suunto is running with the success of their t6 personal training wristop computer, making three new models (the t1, t3, and t4) available for a range of prices and features. Every one of the t-series Suunto personal training watches monitors your heart rate, real-time calories burned, and helps you establish and maintain a personalized fitness profile. The purpose of the t-series is to assist in the development of an optimal training range for fitness enthusiasts, a task that was at one time reserved for professional athletes or others with access to personal trainers and elaborate monitoring equipment. The watches in the Suunto t-Series combine streamlined equipment with a user friendly interface that tracks your fitness regimen and suggests adjustments either during or following a workout. All you'll need to start your optimized fitness regimen is your t-Series Suunto training watch and the Suunto heart rate belt (style 1 - no ANT technology).

The t1 is the 'bare-essentials' model in the Suunto t-Series. It monitors your real-time calories burned, provides 3 adjustable hear rate zones plus a heart rate limit alarm if you are over-exerting, and includes a stopwatch. There's also the standard watch functions (time, date, weekday) as well as a dual time display, backlight, and a single daily alarm. The t1 is the most affordable model in the Suunto t-Series, and its reduced price reflects the absence of certain outstanding features that you'll find in Suunto's other personal training watches. The new additions to the t-Series also have interchangeable wristbands in various styles, a smaller face than most other Suunto's, and a sleeker overall design.

Real-time "Training Effect" monitoring of your improving fitness
Optional fitness training and monitoring software
15-25 log memory (t1 has 1 log)
50-100 lap monitoring (t1 has a 30 lap memory)
Suunto Peripheral Observation Device (or "POD") compatibility. These PODs monitor speed, distance, and other data while biking or running.
